Summary

The Manufacturing Technician performs assembly, repair, test, and inspection tasks on camera systems and subassemblies using approved work instructions and established guidelines, accurately completes all required quality records, and provides feedback for and participates in process and product improvement activities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Uphold the company values of innovation, respect, integrity, diversity, accountability, and operational excellence through daily leadership
  • Assemble, test, calibrate, and repair precision electromechanical and optical systems using hand tools, precision instruments, and proprietary test equipment
  • Diligently follow all procedures, work instructions, and workmanship standards
  • Accurately record test results and complete other documentation and records as required
  • Meet schedule, quality, delivery, and safety objectives
  • Troubleshoot and correct discrepancies by adjusting or replacing parts as directed
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and products
  • Assist with receiving, inspecting, stocking, and kitting of inventory as required
  • Support new product introduction builds as required
  • Other duties as temporarily assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate degree in electronics technology, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Eligible to work for any US employer

Preferred

  • Experience working with an ISO or AS certified company
