When using the developer’s kit, the Viento LWIR OGI camera now supports secondary camera inputs (such as a visible/EO sensor) and a variety of digital outputs including HDMI, H.264/5 encoded IP video, and HDMI. The powerful video processor in the developer’s kit also supports software features such as Gas Enhancement Mode (GEM), tracking/detection, and NMEA KLV data packaging. There are two standard lenses for use with the Viento LWIR OGI camera including 24mm (25 deg HFOV) and 55mm (11 deg HFOV).  The camera is available in configurations from 320 grams for a full development kit with sensor core, lens, lens mount, electronic board stack to 144 grams for the sensor core, lens and lens mount.

OOOOa, b, c and Appendix K Validated

The Viento LWIR OGI camera has been validated to meet the EPA’s OOOOa, b, c and Appendix K standards for detection and visualization of methane at 19grams/hr  and for propane at 22grams/hr with full consideration of the operating envelope. View the Article
